So if your reading this then I’m in the hospital. Hopefully, I have already had a baby by the time this post publishes. Worst case scenario I am still in labor. Which would be absolute hell because I have scheduled this to post about 30 hours after we begin a round of Cytotec on Friday. I’m gonna be pissed if I’ve been in labor for 30 hours and I still don’t have a baby.
We are going to try Cytotec because the doctors are PUSHING us to induce. This is our compromise since I’m over 41 weeks and have very few signs of spontaneously going into labor, and I really want to avoid the whole Pitocin induction. I blame the baby’s procrastination on Patrick’s genetics.
So, here’s to hoping we have a brand new healthy baby and we get to skip the whole horrible uterine rupture thing that occasionally occurs, you know, as a side effect of the drug. Yippy, skippy modern medicine.
I’ll let you know how it all goes when we get home :).
We are so happy for you (although David’s a little disappointed you didn’t have a girl). Can’t wait to see pictures and hear all about McClain’s arrival. Hugs to you all!
